Tilley's forceps

This is an angled forceps with serrations at the tip of the blades. It can be used in ear as well as nasal cavities. This is a versatile outpatient instrument.

Uses:

1. For packing / unpacking ear canal, mastoid cavity

2. For packing / unpacking nasal cavity

3. For introduction of medicated pledgets for local anesthesia in the nasal cavity

4. For removing foreign body / crusts/ debris in the nose and ear
